Kikuichimonji・菊一文字・KamisoriA vintage Showa period kamisori crafted by Kikuichimonji Freshly Restored. Kikuichmonji is a company that still exists today, going back on a famous swordsmith that founded a blacksmithing school in Nara in 1267. He was granted the right to put the imperial sign on his swords the Chrysanthemum or Kiku in Japanese. Thats the source of the Name of the company. We added a Rattan handle wrapping and lacquered it with several layers of Urushi. Includes a
