I use quilt shop quilting cottons for the front and back of the bookmark, and add a layer of cotton batting in between. Each bookmark is top stitched around the perimeter for stability and to hold the layers together. Each bookmark measures approximately 2 1 2 inches wide by 8 inches in length.
