Inchgower 12 Year Old 1980s
Description
Inchgower 12 Year Old 1980sSpeyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky Distillery Bottling 75cl 40% An old official bottling of Inchgower 12 year old from the 1980s. These were far smokier, waxier and more resinous with slight mineral, dusty and medicinal touches as well. Great, old fashioned and unusual speyside single malt from a lost era of distilling.
Fantastic stuff and loads of fun to boot
Distillery Springbank
Lusciously tropical
Another great aged single cask from Benriach as part of their batch 13 release
The series was soon discontinued
Arran only began distilling in 1995 so this is not a particularly long-aged malt but it definitely holds up very impressively in terms of quality for a relatively youthful dram
which was blended by Jim McEwan from stocks distilled before Murray McDavid took over the distillery and released in the mid-Noughties to great acclaim
