This bowl was created on the pottery wheel with marbled and colored stoneware clay

and probably my personal favorite as well

so to achieve a finished piece takes a lot of TLC

With beautifully blended bright celadon glazes on a speckled stoneware

I think of all the bowls I created on the pottery wheel

micro-surface cracks

I have been experimenting with how to achieve the "soda kiln" effect with glaze in a non-soda kiln firing

The glazes on this pot just feel transcendent when you see them

this pottery is food safe and oven safe up to 475 degrees
