FluorapatitePanasqueira is one of the most unique and classic European localities containing some of the most iconic minerals from the European continent. Panasqueira has produced some amazing Apatite (Fluorapatite) specimens in its history, arguably among the finest in the world. This piece features several excellent quality, sharp, lustrous, translucent, tabular, hexagonal Apatite crystals measuring up to 3. 2 cm which are sitting atop tan Siderite on

let alone pieces with such enormous fine quality crystals

There were very few crystals with the quality of this piece in the lot

These crystals are not quite blue

This specimen hosts several good quality Tetrahedrite crystals measuring up to 6 mm with great luster

The Monazites are some of the most distinct and impressive twinned crystals I have seen from Bolivia and they actually perform a color change in different lighting ranging from orange-pink to a white/yellow depending upon the light source

but it also produced some wonderful non-metallic specimens

which is rare for the locality

This specimen is a really interesting example of the famous Copper "skulls" from Michigan
