Description

EphemeralEphemeral, Stephanie Ayalas debut book, is a meditation on memory and photography. Ayala weaves together self portraits with photographs of family, childhood and the natural world. All of these things, Ayala reminds us, are constantly in flux and must transform over time. Ephemeral comes with a poster on handmade paper that complements the books feeling of impermanence. The paper is embedded with seeds, among them: chamomile, daisy, thyme and poppy.
