The GajaLakshmi Silver Navratna NecklaceThis is a traditional Lakshmi pendant with Navratna gemstones and `nakkasi' or `nakshi' work (a form of gilt and repousse technique unique to south Indian temple jewellery). The Goddess is flanked by two elephants on her side, a 'Kirtimukha' ( demon face or grotesque mask used extensively in south Indian architecture and jewellery) on top and two peacocks below . This pendant is crafted using techniques used in ancient South Indian antique jewellery.
