Tales of Soma: A Story About Red Blood CellsThis children's book follows a young red blood cell named RB as he begins traveling the waterways of Soma and delivering oxy to Soma's needy inhabitants. The book teaches about the purpose and lifecycle of red blood cells using anatomical metaphors such as rushing rivers, respirating forests, caverns and gates, as well as characters that represent erythrocytes, leukocytes, thrombocytes, and neurons.
