Surrounding the medallion are large paisleys with Compass blocks made using my facing technique and machine appliqud with a straight edge stitch. Fabrics are from the Makers Home collection by Natalie Barnes of Beyond the Reef patterns for Windham Fabrics. Made using the Fat Robin 16 Point Mariners Compass Book and Ruler combo.
