Microcline (var: Amazonite) on Albite (var: Cleavelandite)This miniature sized specimen features a few sharp, well formed, rich blue green colored prismatic Amazonite crystals with unusually etched altered reddish brown sections on the terminations. The Amazonites are sitting on a matrix of crystallized white Albite (var: Cleavelandite) "rosettes". The terminations on the Amazonite crystals are rare in my experience and make for a lovely color contrast. Collected by my maternal grandfather, Dave Bergman in
