The whole piece is made of careful stain work with a thin line to represent the far shore

I lived the shaped that were already there - and so just added a bit of stain with acrylic and beeswax to protect it

I used the colours to indicate the binds and ties that form between any family unit

While you cannot see the dark part in the photo - I just added it in with a white glaze
