James - Trumpet Concerto for Brass Quintet
Description
James - Trumpet Concerto for Brass QuintetTrumpet Concerto by Harry James arranged for Brass Quintet by Dick SanFilippo. Harry James was a phenomenal Trumpet player with his own band, a band that was the first to sign a 7 month contract with Frank Sinatra in 1939. He was also a good composer, and had his hands deep in this showoff piece he called "Trumpet Concerto" The piece is hard in the 1. Trumpet part, but very manageable in the rest of the Quintet. Nicely arranged by Dick SanFilippo.
