As the name suggests it is heavily veined with the veins getting darker as the season progresses

The flowers open bright yellow with red markings at the base

the background colour turns pink and eventually red

giving the pitchers a bright

Plants here grow in open

The leucophylla is a pubescent form and that 'fuzziness' has been passed on

This is an attractive Sarracenia oreophila both in shape and pattern

resulting in pitchers that remain entirely green throughout the growing season

This is a fast-growing Sarracenia flava forming large dense clumps that make an impressive display

It was produced by national collection holder Mike King of Shropshire Sarracenia

allowing the darker upper section to stand out even more clearly

allowing the white and green pattern to stay dominant
