Lozi Bowl 10
Description
Lozi Bowl 10These bowls are hand carved by the Lozi people of Zambia. Authentic, vintage wooden bowls from global communities are increasingly rare to curate, making them perfect investment pieces. Each bowl would have been used to prepare and serve food or used for storage for many years, which in turn has created wonderful patina, wear and ageing of the wood.
Carved to simple and organic shapes in a beautiful light wood and finished with a unique bark edge detail
This one of the larger Turkana bowls and has some distinctive metal repair work
Dan masks come from the Dan people of Liberia and the Ivory Coast
