Class 58 - Railfreight - 58001 - DCC Sound Fitted58001 was formally handed over to BR on 9th December 1982. It was very much a prototype, although the following members of the class were already under construction and, as such, incorporated some features that would later be changed. Possibly most notable was the roof silencer, this being of the narrow type. Other differences were less apparent, such as the different angles on the back of the cab side sheet and the lack of a moisture trap filter on
