140cm Liljedahl of Norway 1960s Cross-Country Ski Racing Poles - BEAUTIFUL!!!Bamboo poles were sometimes referred to as "Tonkin" poles due to where the wood was sourced from the land surrounding the Gulf of Tonkin modern day Vietnam and China. Liljedahl was the dominant ski pole manufacturer in Norway in the 60s and 70s, continuing to this day as Swix. This pair dates from the early to mid 1960s, when Liljedahl was using the town's logo in their branding. The classic white handles are in beautiful condition. Size: 140cm
