A medium deep purple. The nose is immediately compelling with the notes of blood orange mixing in with the red berries. Rugiens=red soil=iron oxide = blood orange. This is an exceptionally complete wine, the tannins being fully folded in to the beguiling fruit. Very nicely done. Very persistent. Drink from 2033
