2023, Domaine Bruno Clavelier, CORTON, 'Le Rognet', Grand CruSoft wood and menthol influences are present on the nose of poached plum, the sauvage and an abundance of floral elements. There is excellent volume and solid concentration if not nearly the same refinement to the bigger bodied and more powerful flavours that conclude in a sappy, palate coating and strikingly long well balanced finale. This is however a wine that's going to need extended keeping so buy it with that firmly in mind. Sweet Spot. 92 95
