Baku Saffron Gelato
Description
Baku Saffron GelatoSaffron Gelato is a favorite at our LA gelaterias. It is also the flavor that most reminds me of my childhood in Baku, Azerbaijan. Derived from the dried stigmas of the delicate crocus flower, saffron is used in Azerbaijan to flavor everything from traditional rice dishes and savory stews to baklavas and other sweet pastries. Its presence is synonymous with decadence.

We use the “stracciatella” technique - instead of chocolate chips

This is our take on the classic Peanut Butter Chip ice cream
this sorbet is summer in a pint - bursting with peach flavor
