Testing concrete - Methods for mixing and sampling fresh concrete in the laboratoryThis British Standard, a part of the BS 1881 series, describes basic test methods for the preparation of materials and the batching, mixing and sampling of fresh concrete in the laboratory in which accurate controls of the quantities of materials and of test conditions are possible. The test procedures are appropriate when assessing the suitability of materials or determining suitable mix proportions for concrete for general use on site.
