It has a brute de forge finish to the spine of the blade with a full grind and slight distal taper to the spine. It has a red pink epoxy handle with white g10 liners which enhance the colours in the handle material. The epoxy is about as maintenance free as you can get with a high carbon blade of 1095 steel. Its made fron 26c3 high carbon steel has a hamon and been  hand sanded and acid etched to bring out the hamon design
