which starts with a squared-off front and tightly sealed pitchers as they initially elongate

and are characteristic of Sarracenia alata throughout its natural range

The 'viridescens' form designation indicates its complete lack of red pigmentation

but as the plant ages

Named in memoriam of Marco Pezzilli who sadly passed away a couple of years before Andrea Amici registered this exceptional cultivar in 2017
