1970's MONET green marbled lucite pendant1970's Monet iconic green marbled lucite huge drop pendant with gold tone thick twist chain. Monocraft products co. Inc. was founded in New York in 1927 by Michael and Jay Chernow, and the Monocraft name was used until 1970. The Monet mark was first used in 1937 and with copyright symbol after 1955. Has changed hands several times and became part of the Monet group bought by Liz Claiborne in 2000 and moved out of the USA
