Victorian Post Mortem Tintype of Baby in Velvet FrameNewly released from my private collection is this exquisitely composed post mortem photo of a baby in their coffin. The little one is propped up on a table surrounded by crucifix candles, devotional comforts, and flowers. The tintype is housed in a Victorian brown velvet and silver metal carte de visite frame. Refer to photos for size and condition: Very good, though the stand is missing from the frame.

Measures about 26” tall

This is the second of two antique moth specimens I purchased from another dealer who found them in a bible from the 1920s along with pressed flowers

Condition is good with some age tanning and edge wear
