'A Delft Garden' #19 Cyanotypes of Tulips hand printed on Rice Paper each set on individual handmade tiles. Tulips rendered in Prussian blue; a colour absent from the natural tulip. The flowers are printed onto delicate rice paper using the Cyanotype Process, the oldest photographic process invented in Bath in 1842. Cyanotype was widely used for botanical study by pioneers such as Anna Atkins, whose photograms recorded plant specimens through direct contact with
