Description
Deep Canvas Giclée Art Print by Steve Slimm - Rough Tor: A Day of Sublime TranscendenceThis epic larger oil painting was originally part of a commission a few years back to explore the area of Rough Tor on Bormin Moor in Cornwall, UK. It ended up as a riotous symphony of colour, pulling hard on the emotional heartstrings! Stretched canvas with a 40mm depth (back to the wall). Sides are printed with a mirror image of the edge of the artwork. Available in three sizes: SMALL: 25x35cm MEDIUM: 35x45cm LARGE: 45x55cm Allow up to 10 days for
Personally I don't sail
And then there is the passing - this too will pass
The quietness and tranquility of an abandoned beach whispers to the soul of one who seeks transcendence
This is an original mixed-media painting on paper (2013)
In Cornwall there are many stretches of sandy beach that spread out below lined of granite cliffs
when a storm hits in
I realise now how impregnable it seem - although I believe it has been taken more than once
and somehow bring us home to the transcendence of the heart
This mixed-media painting is full of energy
sea behind and the feeling of it all around
It really captured the integration of all those yummy elements of the cliffs and coast around here
The ongoing dilemmas we face regarding choice in how we realte to one another are both complex and manifold
