“Juicy and complex on the palate
Production was down 15–20% at Il Poggione in 2017 due to severe selection of bunches
Cabernet sauvignon 60%
on beautiful soils of clay and sand
With both Early and Late harvested fruit this wine offers complex flavours of zesty citrus and gooseberry
The palate has a creamy texture and mousse
a hint of white blossom and faint traces of butter
February and March proved cold and rainy with a further 300mm of rainfall which was hugely welcomed by the dry terrain

Those more robust tones are followed by spice
Sourced from the very best plots and in limited production to meet the demanding standards of excellence of the two households
