Nepenthes thorelii is a pitcher plant species found in lower altitudes

This particular grex uses our very squat female ampullaria "Purple Striped" clone (last photo) with a solid deep purple pitcher body and striped peristome and our male rafflesiana 'Thick Lip" which has purple pitchers with a pronounced lip

Note that Nepenthes rafflesiana can be prone to transplant shock if high humidity is not provided on arrival

we have found that veitchii is very tolerant of a wide range of temperatures and have grown them well in our lowland
